CHAMPION FOURS. On the Masterton green yesterday afternoon in a match for the Champion Fours Thurston, Hunt, Prague! 1, Kerr (s) defeated Sinclair, Rea, Bartlett, Smith (Featherston) by 27 to 13. GRADY MEDALS. At Featherston, Sinclair and Bartlett (s) easily defeated Vile and Baskivillc (Carterton, challengers) in a match for the Grady Medals. MASTERTON CLUB. To-morrow (Saturday) the official opening of the Masterton Club’s new pavilion takes place, when rinks are expected from all the Wairarapa clubs. The following will represent

CARTERTON CLUB. ' At a meeting of the Match Committee of the Carterton Bowling Club arrangements were made to suitably entertain the Eketahuna bowlers paying a return visit on Saturday week. It is anticipated that the visitors will bring along nve or six rinks. It was decided that a rink tourney be held on Boxing Day and the day following. The following rinks have been selected to represent the Carterton Bowling Club in a match against Lower Hutt, at Lower Hutt, on Saturday:—Pcthcrick, W. Churchill, G. Hart, Hughan (s); Underhill, De Lacey, Lindop, Baskivillc (s); Williams, King, Wise, Harp (s); Tyler, W. Hart, Vile, Dykes (s); Thomas, Leith, Parton, Whyte (s).
