TENNIS.

KELBURN v. MASTERTON. The annual match between the Kelburn (Wellington) and Masterton Clubs will take place on the latter’s court on Saturday, play commencing at 9.30 a.m The visitors, who will be staying at the Hotel Midland, will arrive on Friday night, returning home on Monday morning. The Masterton Club is giving an entertainment (dancing, etc.), in the pavilion on Saturday night, the charges for admission to which have been fixed at Is 6d for ladies and 2s 6d for men, the ladies in addition providing the supper. Tollowing are the respective players, Kelburn players being mentioned first:— SINGLES. W. J. Melody v. N. H. James. C. W. Earle v. J. G. Bee. M. J. Berry v. E. S. Tomlinson. B. F. Malfroy v. S. R. Gawith. D. Earle v. N. Miller. M . D. Irons v. D. Herbert. H. L. Mitchell v. N. W. Groves. G. F. Wilson v. R. W. Steele. S. Jacobs v. Dr. H. G. Moser. G. H. C. Best v. W. I). Horne. C. H. Andrews v. H. M. Boddington. G. McNair v. E. W. Payton. DOUBLES. Melody and Berry v. Smith and Herbert. Earle and Earle v. Bee and Miller. Wilson and Best v. James and Tomlinson. « Malfroy and Irons v. Groves and Moser. .Mitchell and McNair v. Steele and Horne. Andrews and Jacobs v. Boddington and Taylor. The ordinary club tennis will be played as usual during Saturday afternoon, as it is expected the match will be over early.
