MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

A special meeting, representing all Wairarapa Clubs in the competitions, was held last night in the rooms, Masterwn, w»J!u Mr T. Jordan in the chaiir. A sub-committee was appointed to ...meet and confer with the Borough Council Committee re cricketers' interests in the Park oval. Tho Manawatu Cricket Association wrote requesting a date for the fixture of a representative match, —It was decided to suggest the second week in' Januarv. A sub-committee was appointed to wait upon the Boiotigh Council today, disapproving of the atition of the Council in letting the Park oval to the Chautauqua, thus preventing the playing of ordinary matches. It was decided that the following points be awarded in th« competitions:—Three points, straight out wlnT~two points, first innings win; one point, draw; two points, forfeit. It was also arranged that all dubs j supply to the Association a list of all playing members (who must 'be bona fide residents of the district) before November 30th. No player s'hall be eligible to compete in a competitions match until he has resided seven, days in the district. The drawings for' the next competitions match, on Saturday, November 22nd,'are as Follows: Carlton A. v. Martinborough, at Martinborough. Featherston v. Carterton, at Carterton. Featherston Camp v. Greytown, at the Camp. Masterton v. Waingawa, at Masterton. Carlton B, a bye.
