STABLE DESTROYED BY FIRE.
THREE HORSES BURNED TO DEATH. A stable, situated in Bannister Street, belonging to Mr S. Forman, and used by Mr W. Keeble, cab proprietor, was destroyed by fire at aboat 1 o'clock this morning. A neighbour, Mr L. Niool, , was , awakened by a sound of horses kicking, and 00 looking oat of the window be found the building ia flames. Tha alarm was'given 1 and the Fire Briaade were quickly on v the scene. The water pressure was good, and the flames ware *oon got under, but not, however, until considerable damage had been done. Besides losing "the building, which is valued at about £IOO, Mr Forman had about £lO worth of hay destroyed. He also loss a buggy valued at £4O w'liioh had reoently been painted and renovated. ( Mr Keeble ia a heavy loser. Tbree . horses belonging to him were barn): to death in the Are, and a landau was completely rlastrojed. A gig belonging to Mr Hoffeins, of MauriceviJle, waa partly destroyed by the fire, ami a bicycle, the property of Master Formau, was damaged to some extent. The building wa4 insured for £SO, D;ifc the other property was uninsured. The origin of tbe outbreak is a mystery.
