A wearisomo beat to .windward followed, the Shamrock rounding the first mark 188 seconds ahead. The five- mile reach on ihe pjrt taok had been covered when the time limit was reached. The Shamrock was then three quarters of a mile ahead. The race will be re-sailed on Thursday*
