The following is the theam leaving Lawrence at 8 a.m. te-day to represent the Lawrence Club in the premiership match with Owaka at Bald ut ha this afternoon : — Full-back, Jas. Robertson ; three-quarters — O. Clarke, J. M'Keicfo, M. Carru there ; five-eighth, Jas. A irey ; half, F. Vivian; forwards— T. W. Lee (captain), J. Murray, A. Aitken, J. Bryant, F. Robertson, W. Robertson, J. Montgomery, B. Montgomery, 0. Ellis ; emergency, F, Christie. The team is considered a very good travelling one, and should, with ordinary luck, give a good account of itself. It is understood that Mr R. Grigor, of Balclutha, will referee, The team will be conveyed to Balclutha by Mr H. Craig, horses being changed at Clarksville, Auckland beat Wellington at Wellington on Saturday afternoon by 9 points (three tries) to 3 (a try). Between 4,000 and 5,000 people, including the Governor tvere present. The game was not a very brilliant one, Wanganui beat Taranaki by 9 points (a goal from a try and a potted goal) to 8 points (a goal and a try). The game was fast and interesting. A regrettable feature of the game was an accident to Alf. Bayley, who broke his leg.
