ARTERNOON PARTY.
Miss Joan Cooper, who is to be married to-morrow, has been the honoured guest at many pleasant parties lately, and yesterday she was given another enjoyable afternoon party, her hostesses being Miss Joan Maling and Miss Elisabeth Harris. This was held at Miss Maling’s home in Durham Street North. Tennis was played during the afternoon. The drawing-room, where tea was served, was decorated with mixed flowers. The guests were: Miss Joan Cooper and Miss Ann (-ooper, Mrs Hallows Wood, Mrs Gordon Rich, Mrs W. 11. Cowper. Mrs Warburton, Mrs J. F. Cracroft Wilson, Mrs Stephen Lester, Miss Prue Wynn-Williams, Miss Isabel Turrell, 'Miss Meta Nixon, Miss Ilalmai Lough nan, Miss Lois Ollivier, Miss Agatha Upham, Miss Mol lie Black, Miss Jean Newton. Miss Barbara Bloxam, Miss Nancy Gibson, Miss Bett} r Nancarrow, Miss Marjorie Bloxam and Miss Nancy Gard'ner.
