Dog Steals Joint and Meets Death. LONDON, February 10. A dog stole a joint of meat from a butcher’s shop at Hayes (Middlesex) and raced along the High Street, dodging through lines of traffic. An errand boy chased it. The dog turned down a side street, ran into a motor-car. and was killed. The joint remained locked in its jaws. ,
