Mr Neville Chamberlain’s Comment. LONDON, February 16. The Chancellor of the Exchequer (Mr Neville Chamberlain), speaking at Birmingham, said that the stories of a Cabinet crisis last week-end had spread alarm among business men but they really had no relation to the facts. “Provided we can keep clear of political complications,” he said, “there is no reason to doubt that the coming year will witness a further improvement in trade and a further increase in employment. It is necessary to do a great deal more work before we can begin to consider any change in the composition or any rearrangement of the Government.”
