Man Buried Beside His Lost Arms. LONDON. February 10. Joe Shirt, of Buxton Road. New Mills, Derbyshire, who has just died, lost both his arms in a machine accident fiftythree 3*ears ago. The severed limbs were buried in the Wesleyan Cemetery. Now Shirt's bodv has been buried beside his arms. Shirt in his younger days was the finest sprinter in the district. He was also a clever bowler, playing the woods with his feet.
