SCHOOL HOURS.
Normal Timetable Resumed To-day. Schools throughout the Canterbury Education Board's district, which inc.udes the West Coast, resumed normal timetable hours this morning in accordance with the decision made by the board last Friday. When the school day was limited to the morning only, the weather was abnormally hot, but though the drought conditions continue in the city the temperatures are lower, and it is not anticipated that there will be any necessity to again curtail the hours of the lessons.
