PLENTY TO DO
Work of the Tramway Board. Because the last meeting of the Christchurch Tramway Board lasted only three and a half minutes it does not mean that the board membera have not much to do, according to a statement made this afternoon at tha meeting of the board, by the chairmen (the Rev J. K. Archer). Mr Archer said that as tha last maetlng had been so short it had been suggested that it had vary little to do. That was not correct. A good deal of tha business of the board was confirming business done in 'committee. There was a colossal amount of work to be done that sama afternoon by the committee, which would take at lesrst two hours. _
