ONE-ACT PLAYS.

The Christchurch Repertory Society’s second programme of plays, presented last night in the Training College Hall, consisted of three one-act pieces: “E. and 0.E.,” “ Hat and Stick ” and “ A Villa for Sale.” “ E - and 0.E.,” produced by Mr H. M’D. Vincent. Miss Ellen Jones narrowly gained the acting honours for her portrayal of the mother-in-law, Jane Mackintosh. Mr Vincent was very convincing when he took the place of his dead cousin in order to forge the will.
