KANEKE CLUB’S CONCERT.
On Thursday last the annual "breakup ” of the Kaneke Club was held in the Training College Hall, where some 400 members and friends enjoyed a varied programme. The hall was beautifully decoratd. the walls being covered with trellis laced with flowers, while across the stage front was massed pink blossom and spring flowers. Mrs F. M. Orchard, president of the club, received the guests, wearing a frock of black satin, cut high to the neck with roll in front and cut-outs on the bodice, the skirt being inset with godets. With this was worn a coatee of the same material, with big sleeves, a basque and a high mediei collar. She carried a scarlet bouquet presented by the hostesses. Much credit for the success of the evening is due to the stage manager, Mrs G. Maginness, and to the secretary, Miss A. T. Freeman. Following was the programme: Chorus. "Polly Perkins,” soloists, F.
