It has been found necessary. to increase the stand accommodation at Goshen, which is one of the principal trotting grounds in America. The handsome stand .will be extended 160 feet down the home straight, conforming with the architecture of the old stand yvhich is the most attractive in that country. There will be a thirtyseven foot extension toward the track on the lawn in front of the old part of the stand. This addition will accommodate a tier of seven boxes; the entire addition adding just about five thousand seats to the capacity of the track. The added accommodation and placing chairs will have almost seating capacity for twenty thousand persons.
