BOTTLE LAKE RESERVE.

Tree Planting Work for This Season. Approximately 100,000 trees, mostly pinus radiata, are to be planted by the Reserves Department of the City Council at Bottle Lake and Victoria Park in the present planting season, which began about the beginning of the present month. Most of the work is being done by relief of whom# about a hundred are employed at Bottle Lake, although many of them put in only one or two days a week. About 150 acres will probably be planted during the season.
