Barlow, West Yorkshire Regiment, with 288, won the King’s Prize, after tieing with Captain J. Sedgwick, Durham Light Infantry. The Duke of Gloucester watched the final stages and congratulated the winner. The Duke’s right hand was bandaged and was inside his coat.
