Plane Plunges 1500 Feet fo Earth.

United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received July 23, 12.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, July 23. Roy Lovett, aged 24, one of the Ballarat Aero Club’s most promising pilots, was killed when his machine nose-dived from a height of 1500 feet. Lovett had just come out of a loop when he plunged to earth. The nose of the machine drove nearly four feet into the ground and the plane was wrecked. The pilot was severely crushed.
