The Irish Open Golf Championships resulted: Easterbrook 284 1 and J. A. Brown (amateur, of Waterford) 291 2.. Other scores included: Davies 291 Wallasey 291 R. Whitcombe 297 J. Kirkwood 299 Padgham 299 S. Brews 302 P. Alliss 302 Easterbrook had a final round of 68, equalling the record, which Brown, the Irish champion, established in the third round. The .committee declined to take action in connection with Kirkwood’s allegations, expressing the opinion that there was no ground for complaint.
