MISS JEAN BATTEN.
Civic Reception Accorded Her at Invercargill. Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, July IS. Miss Jean Batten arrived at the Invercargill aerodrome at 11 o’clock this morning, and was greeted by a large crowd. Later she was accorded a civic reception by the Mayor and citizens at the Town Hall.
