YOUNG MAN KILLED.
Per Press Association. TIMARU. April 11. A fatal motor accident occurred on the main highway between Timaru and Fairlie to-night, in the vicinity of the Pleasant Point Domain, the victim being James Douglas Home, aged twenty-two, a single man. Home, who was accompanied by Angus M’Arthur. had been to the fishing huts at But ler’s Crossing, where the Heme familv have a hut. The pair had been in Pleasant Point for milk and were returning to the huts in a light delivery van. When passing the gates at the Pleasant Point Domain the van, which was driven by M’Arthur, overturned in some loose shingle. Home was pinned underneath and was dead when extricated.
