Bachelor Racehorse Owner’s Last Wish. LONDON, April 6. James Patterson, a rich bachelor racehorse breeder, of Dumfries-shire. when he went into a nursing home for an operation, stopped all the clocks in his house at 1 p.m. Three days later he died at the same hour. He left a request that, if he died, his favourite dog, Dcra, should be destroyed and that both he and the dog should be buried together in the pets’ corner of his residence, where a num ber of former pet dogs and old racehorses are buried The family decided to bury Pattersen in the family grave, but at the same hour Dora was interred in the pets’ corner.
