Britain Will Not Inquire Into Alternatives. CHANCELLORS STATEMENT. British Official Wirel««a. (Received April 12, 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, April 11. The Chancellor of the Exchequer does not consider that any useful purpose will be served by setting up a committee to report on alternatives to the present monetary system.
