GRADUATES’ ASSOCIATION.

At a meeting of the Canterbury University Graduates’ Association held last evening at the college, Mr A. E. Flower presided over a good attendance. Addresses were given by Mr C. W. Collins, M.A., who has recently been appointed college librarian, on his travels in Europe and America, and by Mr H. Dowling, M.A., on life in a French university. Arrangements were put in train for the year’s activities. The annual conversazione will be held on a date to be fixed, probably in April. The date will depend on the date arranged by the College Council for the Commemoration Day ceremony, as it is intended, if possible, to arrange for the conversazione to take place in the same week. All members of the association resident in New Zealand will receive invitations to both functions. At the conclusion of the meeting supper was served in the Students’ Union tearooms.
