Committee’s Report to Parliament. ("Star” Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, December 15. In connection with the petition of Annie Lillian Matheson. who seeks £IOSO for alleged wrongful imprisonment. the Public Petitions Committee reported to the House of Representatives this afternoon that, after examining the petitioner and hearing the evidence of all the officials concerned, it had no recommendation to make as petitioner had not exhausted all her legal remedies.
