EVERY OFFICE SHOULD HAVE ONE.
One of the eternal triangles of office life in the past has been the office boy. the petty cash and the tram ride. The introduction of weekly passes has not only solved this problem but has proved a great boon to business people generally who wish to waste no time in conducting their business about the city. A professional man the other day was amazed at the value he got out of a3s weekly pass in one day. He left his office, walked to Colombo Street, took a tram to Moorhouse Avenue to make a business call, returned by tram to Tuam Street to make a purchase, caught a further tram to Armagh Street to make another call, and returned to the office, where a telephone message was awaiting him to return to the firm he had interviewed in Moorhouse Avenue. He thus made two more tram trips. Every journev was made on his 3s weekly pass, which in addition, he had used to bring him into town in the morning, home and back again at lunch time, and home at night. This particular man did not go to town that evening but> had he done so he would have obtained almost his 3s worth in one day. 6
