MODEL YACHTING.

The Christchurch Model Yacht Club sailed the first two heats of the club championship on Saturday at Victoria Lake. Seven boats competed. Following were the results: First heat-B. George’s Irene IT. 1. C. White's Charlie 2. R. Monro's Dolphin 3, W. S. Kingston's Sans Atout 4, E. Hodge s Kea 5. Time—29min. Second heat—Dolphin 1, Sans Atout 2. Charlie 8, Kea 4. Irene 31. 5. Time—--23 min. The final heats will be sailed next Saturdav. The leading boats are: Dolphin 11 points, Irene 11. 0. Charlie 8 and Sans Atout 7.
