CHURCH ANNIVERSARY.

Meeting of Parishioners at Riccarton. There was a large attendance of the parishioners of St Peter’s, Riccarton, at a meeting in the Parish Hall to make arrangements for the coming jubilee celebrations to commemorate the seventy-fifth anniversary of the consecration of the church. The Rev 11. T! York presided. Mr A. Freeman, parishioners’ warden, outlined a programme which had been drawn up at a recent meeting of a committee comprised of members of the vestry and the Mothers’ Union. It was decided to commence the jubilee celebrations on Sunday-, November 19, and to continue them until Sunday, November 26, 1933. Committees to deal with the necessary- arrangements are to be formed from all auxiliary branches connected with St Peter’s Church. Mr Roy-don Andrews was elected honorarv secretary of the management committee. The preparation of a booklet was left in the hands of Mr Lovell-Smith.
