Verdict of Suicide at Inquest. After two adjournments, the inquest into the death of Francis Richard Cotton, aged twenty-three, a tramway conductor, of 312, Montreal was concluded before Mr H. A. Young, coroner, this afternoon. A verdict was returned that '■ M .top committed suicide by inhaling coal gas. He was found dead at his home on March 10. Sergeant Harrison said that, at 7 p.m. on March 10, he found Cotton lying in a room dead. There was a strong smell of gas, and the gas had been fully turned on. Three letters were found on a chair, one to his mother, one to his wife and one to a young woman in Spreydon,
