A Red Cross canteen on the lines of those held during the Great War will be one of the unusual features of the dance which is being arranged by a number of young people and which will be held on Saturday evening at the Canterbury Automobile Association’s rooms. The proceeds are to aid the funds of the Red Cross Society. Tickets are obtainable from the following members of the committee: Mesdames C. J. Treleaven and Winstone Philp, Misses Joy Tennent, Betty Treleaven, Joyce Hughes, Gretchen Sargent, Betty Deighton, Messrs Melville Dearsley, Trevor Lane, Geoffrey Edwards and Walter Baker.
