COMMUNITY DANCING.
Scheme to be Continued in Aid of Distress.
Community dancing in aid of the Mayor’s Relief of Distress Fund is to be revived in Cranmer Square on Tuesday evening next. The Mayor (Mr D. G. Sullivan, M.P.) made an announcement to this effect this morning. He said that in addition to folk and modern dancing, the Woolston Band would play the test pieces used at the recent band contest.
