The Scottish Society of Christchurch, following its usual custom of assisting the Presbyterian Orphanages, intends giving a first-class concert in its rooms, Manchester Street, on Thursday next, March 10, at 8 p.m. The U'hole of the proceeds will be handed over to the superintendent of the Social Service Association. A charge of one shilling will be made at the door. Mrs Alex M’Gillivray has the concert arrangements well in hand, and patrons can be assured of a good concert.
