MATJI POMARE leaves Auckland on January 27 for Niue and Apia. TOFUA arrived at Auckland on January 19 from Suva. To leave Auckland on January 25 for the Islands. MORINDA arrived at Sydney on Monday from Norfolk Island and Lord Howe Island. COASTAL SHIPPING. The ‘ Government steamer Maitai left Lyttelton this morning for the Akaroa and southern lighthouses. WAIPAHI is an expected arrival at Lyttelton to-morrow from Timaru to load for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne. WINGATUI, with a consignment of bananas ex Tofua, is expected here on Sunday from Auckland direct.

JOHN will now load here on Wednesday next for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato. WAIPIATA, from Auckland, via Wellington, is expected here to-morrow to unload Auckland cargo. The vessel proceeds south to-morrow evening, and returns here from Bluff, via Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru, on January 28 to load for Auckland. TOTARA, from New Plymouth, is expected here to-day. She will load for New Plymouth and sails for that port CALM is expected here to-morrow from Wellington to load for Bluff, Dunedin and Timaru. The vessel is expected to return to Lyttelton on Tuesday to load for northern ports. HOLMDALE, due here from Dunedin, via. ports, on Sunday, will load here the following day for Wellington, Plcton and Wanganui. WAIMARINO arrived at Lyttelton this morning from Timaru to continue her loading for Wellington and AuckPAUA arrived at Lyttelton to-day from Wellington to load bulk motor spirits for Tim&ru, Dunedin and Bluff. She leaves for the south to-morrow. TASMAN AND PACIFIC. OTOKTA, the Union Company tanker, is expected to arrive at Wellington cn Monday from San Pedro. The itinerary of the Kalingo, which is discharging cargo from southern Australian ports, has been altered so that she will now call at Picton before visiting Wellington, and will proceed from there to Napier. KATMIRO, from Hobart and Melbourne, via Bluff and Dunedin, arrived at Lyttelton to-day. The vessel, on discharging, proceeds to-morrow to Picton, Wellington, Napier and Auckland. WAIKQUAITI, from Sydney, via Newcastle, is due at Bluff to-day. She is expected here on Friday, via Dunedin, to continue her unloading. GABRIELLA left Newcastle on January 16 for Napier, where she is due on January 22. GOLDEN CLOUD will leave Los Angeles on February 1 for- Auckland, Wellington, Lytteltcn and Dunedin. Due at Auckland on February 27. KAPONGA loads at Newcastle on January 27 for Wellington. OVERSEA VESSELS. REMUERA left Southampton on December IS for Wellington and Auckland, and is due at Wellington on Sunday., ARDENVOHR, from New York, via Auckland and Wellington, is expected here on Sunday. OTAIO, which sailed from Liverpool on December 20 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff, via Dakar and Cape of Good Hope, is due at Auckland on Sunday. KARAMEA arrived at Port Chalmers yesterday afternoon from London, via Suva, She is expected here on Friday to continue unloading. ANTINOUS left Tampico on December 24 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Wanganui and New Plymouth. The vessel is expected at Auckland on February 1. • PORT ALMA is expected to leave London to-day for Suva, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth. Due at Lyttelton on February 29. PORT HUNTER leaves New York on January 30 for Auckland, Wellington, ! Lyttelton and Dunedin. Due at Auck-* land on February 28. PORT MELBOURNE was dispatched from Bluff yesterday for Port Chalmers, Picton, Wellington and Auckland. To leave Auckland on February 4 for London. OPAWA arrived at Lyttelton this morning from Wellington to continue unloading West of England cargo. She is expected to leave on Friday for Dunedin. MATAROA IN HEAVY WEATHER. A wireless message received from the. Mataroa, which left Auckland on January 13 for Southampton and London, via Panama, states that heavy eastei'ly weather has been experienced since leaylng, but that all on board are well. WESTMORELAND FROM HOME. En route from Falmouth in ballast, the Westmoreland arrived at the Panama Cana'l, and sailed again on January 15. She is due in New Zealand about February 6, to commence her Homeward loading. ULIMAROA’S TRANSHIPMENTS. The Ulimaroa, which arrived at Wellington yesterday morning from Sydney. brought transhipments of cargo from the following vessels:—Mongolia, Oronsay, Romola, Canberra and Balronald. AUSTRALIAN STEAMERS SOLD. The old Adelaide Steamship Company’s steamer Lammeroo, which was recently renamed Shun Foo, and the exHuddart Parker steamer Werribee, which has been renamed Hua Shan, both left Newcastle recently, the Shun Foo for China and the Hua Shan for Cebu and 110 110.
