The Women’s Guild of the Linwood Baptist Church held its final meeting on Tuesday, the Rev N. R. Wood presiding. Reports were received from the sfall-holders at the recent fair. Mr Wood expressed his appreciation of the help of the guild. In addition to working for a fair the women have’ been sewing for the poor families of the district. A number of families have been completely outfitted by the guild. It was unanimously decided to keep this work on. During the afternoon items were given by Miss D. Robey and Mrs Beryl Windsor. I
