WEDDING.

BRIXTON—ROBINSON The wedding took place recently at St John's Church, Latimer Square, of Jean Evelyn, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs R. Robinson, and Henry James, eldest son of Mr and Mrs A. Brixton, of Christchurch. The officiating clergyman was the Rev J. T. M’William's. Miss Black presided at the organ. Th§ bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a white satin gown cut op mediaeval lines. The bodice was trimmed with a motif of palest blue and pearls. The skirt fell to ankle length. Her satin train was veiled in tulle and embroidered with pearls. She wore a hand-embroidered veil caught with orange blossoms, and carried a beautiful shower boquet. Miss Florence Brown, bridesmaid, and Mrs R. Taylor, matron of honour, wore frocks of ivory fail, hand-painted, and coatees of red lace. Their large tulle hats were caught off the face with brilliant pins, and they carried bouquets to tone with their frocks. Miss Evelyn Newton, the small bridesmaid, wore a frilly frock of duck-egg lace celanese, and a hat of tulle. She carried a bouquet in the same shade of blue. The bridegroom was attended by Mr V. Boundey as best man, and Mr R. Wilkenson was groomsman. At the reception the bride’s mother received the guests wearing a navy frock finished with white georgette, a smart tricorn hat with ostrich cockade, j and carried a bouquet of autumn- | tinted roses. The bridegroom’s mother wore a black crepe de chine frock with touches of beige and a straw hat. She ! carried a posy of red roses. The bride travelled in a celanese suit of three tones of brown, a hat of fawn and brown with uplifted brim and skunk stole. She carried a fur coat. . *
