UNITED VOICE URGED

Earl Je llicoe’s Advice to Empire. MUST MAKE SACRIFICES. United Press Assn.—By Klectric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received August 25, 11 a.m.) MONTREAL, August 24. “ Let the next Imperial Conference speak with a united voice and it will be found that the people of the Empirewill be ready to respond,” declared Admiral of the* Fleet Earl Jellicoe, when addressing the Canadian Club luncheon to-day. It was palpable that each portion of the Empire must be prepared to make some sacrifice and to modify some of its opinions in order that conclusions might be reached and a policy adopted which would be for the good of the Empire as a whole. For this reason it was important that those representing each portion of the Empire should make themselves thoroughly acquainted with the views held by people in other parts.
