R.S.A. WOMEN’S AUXILIARY.

Mrs H. T. J. Thacker presided over a well-attended meeting of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Returned Soldiers’ Association, held yesterday, at which final arrangements were made for the big bridge party to be held to assist the association’s benevolent fund. The party is to be held in the Jellicoe Hall at 2.15 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18. Afternoon tea will be provided. Reports submitted indicate that there would be a good attendance, the necessity for assisting ex-servicemen who are up against it being widely recognised.
