NO CARDS FOR JUDGES.
Edict Issued by Rumanian Minister. BUCHAREST, August 13. The Minister of Justice, Dr C. Ham-, angiu, has circularised judges throughout the country denouncing card-play-ing as a degrading practice. He forbids magistrates to play, and orders them to resign from card clubs. Disobedience of the order means deprivation of fifteen days salary and liability to dismissal.
