MONEY STOLEN BY SECRETARY OF CLUB.

Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 1. Henry John Herman Tolcher, exsecretary of the Alsatian Shepherd Dog Club, who was arrested in Gisborne last week, to-day was charged with the theft of £l2 belonging to the club, and given three months’ gaol by Mr Page, S.M. The money was subscriptions unaccounted for and with which accused disappeared. He had been previously before the Court for false pretences, also for a breach of a prohibition order.
