William Henry Hudson, of Pahiatua, a labourer, aged twenty-nine years, was remanded to appear on December 23 by Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court this morning. The charge was that on or about May 12 he committed forgery by making a false document by forging the name, “F. Westaway,” to a cheque for £l2, and payable to W. Hudson, drawn on Pyne, Gould, Guinness, Ltd., and uttered it to the Gold Band Taxi Company. ABSOLUTELY PURE. French’s Wine is Rich, Pure, and Invigorating.
