WAIMAKARIRI POWER BOATING CLUB MEETS.

The annual meeting of the Waimakariri Power Boat Club was held last night, the commodore (Mr V. J. Gamble) presiding. The election of officers resulted:— Patron, Mr V. J. Gamble; commodore, Mr A. O. Willcocks; rear-commodore, Mr F. 3_). Kesteven; club captain, Mr £?. Phillips; secretary-treasurer, Mr L. G. Hill; auditor, Mr O. M. Williams; General Committee, Messrs 'A. Kane, W. Young, L. G. Harper and C. Josephsen; liandicapper, Mr S. Phillips; delegates to the Canterbury Sailing and Power Boat Association, Messrs A. O. Willcocks and S. Phillips. Mr A. Kelleway presented the club with a handsome cup inscribed “ The Kelleway Cup, 1930, for open outboard competition oij the Waimakariri.” The gift was acknowledged by the club captain and the commodore. *
