Reid (Christchurch), who are staying in Timaru, will leave to-day for The Hermitage. Mrs E_. J. LeCren and Miss Ethel LeCren (Maori Hill) have returned from Christchurch. Misses Kathleen and Joan Wood (Waimate) have returned from a short visit to Christchurch. Mrs Maurice O’Rorke (Hororata) will arrive to-day to stay with Mr and Mrs C. IT. Gresson (Selwvn Street). Mrs Colin Douglas (Waimate), who has been visiting Christchurch and North Canterbury, will return home today. Miss Joan Hargreaves (Kakahu) will be the guest of Mrs Maurice Harper (Waitawa) for the White-Elworthy wedding. Miss Mary Bond (“ Dunrobin ”) returned home yesterday after a short visit to Mrs M. Bethell (North Canterbury). Mr and Mrs Gerald Murray, “ Glenmor,” and Mr and Mrs Bruce Murray. “ Godlev Peaks,” will be the guests of Mr and Mrs James Scott, “Cannington.” Timaru, for a few davs. Mr and Mrs Endell Wanklvn. Merivale. and Mrs Marmaduke' Bethell, Pahau Pastures, are visiting Timaru.
