CLIMBERS SPENT NIGHT IN SWAMP.

INTENDED TO CROSS RANGES ON WAY HOME. Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, July 28. Three young men, R. E. Whitwell, F. Sutton and C. Knight, are missing on Mount Egmont. They left the North Egmont House on Sunday, intending to cross the ranges to Mangorei Road and thence heme. The weather was bad last night and snow was lying this morning on the higher ground in New Plymouth and suburbs. A search party is out. Later. The missing Egmont mountaineers arrived home not much the worse this morning. They spent the night in a swamp near Bell’s Falls, after getting lost.
