The Navy League Sea Cadet Corps is still open for recruiting. The corps is open to boys from twelve to eighteen years of age, who can enrol at the Canterbury Rowing Club. on Thursdays, or at the Pier Hall. New Brighton, on Tuesdays, between 7 and 8 p.m. The corps gives instructions on camping, rowing, sailing, swimming, signalling, and also preparatory training for the Royal Navy and Mercantile Marine.
