(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received July 14, 8.55 a.m.) LONDON, July 13. In the Davis Cup match at Genoa, Italy defeated Japan by three matches to two. De Morpurgo beat Ohta 6-0, 6-0, 6-1. Harada beat de Stefani, 6-2, 7-5, 7-5. Italy now meet the United States in the inter-Zone final.
MATCH AT BOURNEMOUTH. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. > LONDON, July 12. The Australian tennis players are engaged in a match at Bournemouth. Results were:— Willard defeated Kingsley, 4-6, 6-3, 10-8. Austin defeated Crawford, 6-3, 6-1. Moon defeated Perry, 10-S, 6-2. Perry seemed to lose his composure in the second set and became over-ex-cited. while Moon won his set serenely. Austin was definitely in form and Crawford was unable to do anything.
