SCULLIN DEFENDS FEDERAL BUDGET.
PRIME MINISTER SAYS HE WILL FACE POSITION. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) CANBERRA, July 13. The Prime Minister, Mr J. H. Scullin, vigorously defended his Budget against the critics. He said that apparently some people wished to repudiate debts and reduce war and old age pensions. He certainly would not do that. “We intend to go along fearlessly facing the position and balancing the Budget,” he added. Mr J.
