TRENTHAM RACECOURSE SUGGESTED FOR TEST. (Special to the “Star.”) MASTERTON, July 10. It is becoming evident that Athletic Park will not be big enough to accommodate the crowd on the occasion of the fourth test match, and it is suggested by the "Wairarapa Daily Times” that the controlling authorities should approach the Wellington Racing Club with a view to securing the Trentham racecourse upon which to stage the game. The fences could easily be moved back for a good field of play to be obtained. With splendid stand accommodation available and plenty of ground space, there should be ideal conditions in which to witness the game. The Railway Department would doubtless ptit on a special train to the racecourse. It is understood that the matter is to be brought under the notice of the Wairarapa Rugby Union. The Hawke’s Bay Union may be specially interested in the suggestion. MAORI RUGBY BOARD ENTERTAINS TEAMS. (Special to the “ Star.”) WELLINGTON, July 10.
