“ SPLINTERS " SHOWING AT THE CIVIC THEATRE.
That th*' public is behind British picturcs, if they are of a quality equal to "Splinters.” is evidenced by the fact that crowded houses are the order of the day at the Civic, where that film is being screened twice daily. It is more than a talking picture; it is a record of the trials and difficulties surrounding the establishment of the First Army Concert Party formed behind the lines. There is an excellent supporting programme.
