The programme at the Crystal Palace Theatre is a delight from beginning to end. The main attraction, “Slightly Scarlet," is an all-talking production featuring Clive Brook and Evelyn Brent. It is a story of immaculate crooks, and is a first-class piece of work, strong In dramatic effect. Among tho short*, a news film depicts the arrival of Commander Byrd nt Dunedin on his return from the South Pole. An excellent comedy also is screened.
