After prevailing on a girl of sixteen to draw her savings from the Post Office, Lester John Gordon Humphries, ag«d 18. left Nelson in company withl her for Wellington. On the trip over the girl stole some money belonging to another passenger and was charged' in the Juvenile Court this morning, Humphries was charged with vagrancy. Sub-Inspector L an der said that Humphries twice had come under the notice of the Child Welfare Department. Mr Page, S.M., sent him to the Weraroa Training Farm.
